Join us for Girls' Night Out Book Club Edition Friday, April 29th at 7:30pm at The Vibrary: Wine and Book Bar located at 970 Main St Suite A, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. We will be delving into activist-author-writer Kimberly Jones latest book How We Can Win: Race, History, and Changing the Money. This event is free and donations will be accepted and made to The People's Uprising, a 501c(3) focused on building bridges amongst private corporations, government and underserved communities.
How We Can Win will expand upon statements Kimberly Jones made in a viral video posted in June 2020 following the murder of George Floyd at the hands of police. Through her personal experience, observations, and Monopoly analogy, she illuminates the economic disparities Black Americans have faced for generations and offers ways to fight against a system that is still rigged.
